Ratio Charts are a simple yet powerful & effective way to understand the relative performance of any stock or index vis-a-vis a benchmark, like Nifty. To put it in simple language, if we want to understand amongst six sectors which sector is performing better than the other, a ratio chart will help us understand that visually.

One key advantage of a “ratio chart” is its construction – a simple ratio, that is, a numerator over a denominator. And so, any decent software like TradingView will be able to create, track and analyze multiple ratio charts.
